According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry till eight o’clock at night, more than 27 lakh doses of vaccine were given on the first day of ‘Teeka Utsav’.

The Union Health Ministry said that on April 13, 2021, more than 37 lakh doses of the Covid-19 vaccine were given on the second day of the vaccination campaign ‘Tika Utsav’. With this, the total number of vaccine doses in the country has increased to 10,82,92,423.

The ministry said that many workplace vaccination centers have been operationalized in the government and private sectors across the country. The vaccination campaign has been intensified to curb the uncontrollable pace of Corona in the country.

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry till eight o’clock at night, more than 27 lakh doses of vaccine were given on the first day of ‘Teeka Utsav’. Earlier, on average, only 16 lakh vaccines were used every Sunday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a meeting with the Chief Ministers of states on 08 April 2021 regarding the condition of coronavirus epidemic and vaccination, to celebrate ‘Vaccine Festival‘ across the country from April 11 to April 14 and to get more people vaccinated.

(केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने बताया कि टीकाकरण अभियान ‘टीका उत्सव’ के दूसरे दिन 13 अप्रैल 2021 को कोविड-19 टीके की 37 लाख से अधिक खुराक दी गईं| जिससे अब तक देश में टीके की कुल खुराकों की संख्या बढ़कर 10,82,92,423 हो गई|) 

(मंत्रालय ने कहा कि देश भर में सरकारी और निजी क्षेत्र में कई कार्यस्थल टीकाकरण केंद्र चालू हो गए हैं| देश में कोरोना की बेकाबू होती रफ्तार पर लगाम लगाने हेतु टीकाकरण अभियान में तेज किया गया है|)  

(केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय की तरफ से जारी रात आठ बजे तक के आंकड़े के अनुसार टीका उत्सव’ के पहले दिन वैक्सीन की 27 लाख से अधिक डोज दी गई| इससे पहले हर रविवार को औसतन 16 लाख टीके ही लग रहे थे|)
