The existing collection of books of freedom fighters in the Bhagat Singh memorial will be converted into “Shaheed Smriti Library” – Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’
The Union Minister of Education, Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, inaugurated the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Smarak in New Delhi on 23 March 2021.
The University of Delhi organized an event on ‘Martyr’s Day‘ in the Convention Hall of the Viceregal Lodge to pay tribute to the martyrdom of our national icons of the Indian National Movement – Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar and Shivram Rajguru.
On this occasion, Union Education Minister Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ appeared as the chief guest and the Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University, Professor P.C. Joshi presided over the function. On this occasion, the Union Education Minister inaugurated the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Memorial.
On the occasion of the 97th Convocation held at the University of Delhi, Mr Pokhriyal emphasized the need to remember the events that inspire and inspire young people today, to imbibe the values that our national heroes embodied in independent India. Has been martyred in making it a reality.
The Union Education Minister announced the conversion of the existing collection of books of freedom fighters into the “Shaheed Smriti Library” at the Bhagat Singh Memorial. Tributes were paid to Shaheed Bhagat Singh in the chamber located in the basement of the Viceregal Lodge of the university where he was imprisoned.

(भगत सिंह स्मारक में स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों की पुस्तकों के मौजूदा संग्रह को केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री द्वारा “शहीद स्मृति पुस्तकालय” में परिवर्तित करने की घोषणा की| विश्वविद्यालय के वाइसरीगल लॉज के तहखाने में स्थित चैंबर में शहीद भगत सिंह को श्रद्धांजलि दी गई जहां उन्हें कैद किया गया था|)
