30th edition of India-Thailand Integrated Patrol (CORPAT) concludes
Recently the 30th edition of the Indo-Thai Coordinated Patrol (Indo-Thai Corpete) was organized between the Indian Navy and the Royal Thai Navy.
The indigenously built missile Corvette Indian Navy (INS) Karmuk and Dornier Maritime Patrol Aircraft of both navies along with a Chao Fraya class frigate His Majesty’s Thailand Ship (HTMS) Karaburi CORPAT participated.
To increase this bilateral relations and maritime cooperation of India Thailand, both navies are organizing the CORPAT twice a year for 2005 with the aim of securing their international maritime boundary line as well as international trade.
