NK Singh released his autobiography ‘Portraits of Power’
Recently, noted economist and bureaucrat NK (Nanda Kishore) Singh has released his autobiography titled “Portraits of Power: Half a Century of Being at Ringside”. This book tells about the life of NK Singh who played an active role in the development of the Indian economy. He is currently serving as the Chairman of the 15th Finance Commission. This book was published by Rupa Publications India.
(हाल ही मे, जाने-माने अर्थशास्त्री और नौकरशाह एन के (नंद किशोर) सिंह ने “Portraits of Power : Half a Century of Being at Ringside” नामक अपनी आत्मकथा का विमोचन किया है। यह पुस्तक एनके सिंह के जीवन के बारे बतलाती है जिन्होंने भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था के विकास में सक्रिय भूमिका निभाई थी। वे वर्तमान में 15 वें वित्त आयोग के अध्यक्ष के रूप में सेवारत हैं। इस पुस्तक का प्रकाशन रूपा पब्लिकेशंस इंडिया द्वारा किया गया।)
NK Singh was awarded his highest national honor “The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star” by Japan in 2016, as well as being the only Indian to be included in the list of 2016 recipients.
