October 20 : International Chef Day
Every year internationally, 20 October is celebrated as International Chef Day. The day is celebrated to mark and honor this magnificent profession and to make people around the world aware of healthy eating. It is a day for experienced chefs to embrace their knowledge and cooking skills with a sense of pride and commitment to the next generation.

The theme of the International Chef Day 2020 campaign is Healthy Food for the Future. International Chef Day was started in 2004 by Dr Bill Gallagher, a well-known chef and former president of the World Association of Chef Societies (World Chefs).
