The United Nations celebrates World Bicycle Day, or World Bicycle Day, on 3 June every year to promote the use of bicycles as a means to promote development around the world. This day is aimed at children and youth. To strengthen basic education is to prevent disease, promote health, promote tolerance, mutual understanding and respect, and facilitate a culture of social inclusion and peace.
To encourage member states to address the issues of World Cycle Day development strategies every year, with a particular focus on cycling and improving road safety, as well as integrating it into the planning and design of sustainable mobility and transportation infrastructure to do. Apart from this, it aims to promote bicycles among all sections of the community.
