Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) and TP Renewable Microgrid Ltd (TPRMG), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power, have recently launched Green Energy Business Program to create 1,000 green energy businesses across the country. The project will promote sustainable business models across the country, resulting in the empowerment of rural entrepreneurs.

Hall SIDBI will also support its Prayas scheme to facilitate financing (loans) for starting or developing firms of rural entrepreneurs or credit connections through partner banks.
TPRMG will identify eligible entrepreneurs in new areas along with their existing microgrid network to supply high quality, reasonable price, reliable and green energy (solar, wind, and biogas) to these rural enterprises.
