✅Anti-kidnapping Opration organized at Kochi Port ✅
🔷 The Indian Navy, with the help of the Indian Coast Guard, Cochin Port Trust and other stakeholders, conducted a large-scale anti-hijacking exercise at the Kochi Port. The code name for the exercise was “hijacking” in which several agencies including the Indian Navy, the Indian Coast Guard and more than 12 ships and helicopters of the Cochin Port Trust participated.
भारतीय तट रक्षक, कोचिन पोर्ट ट्रस्ट और अन्य हितधारकों की सहायता से भारतीय नौसेना ने बड़े पैमाने पर कोच्चि पोर्ट पर अपहरण रोधी अभ्यास संचालित किया। इस अभ्यास का कोड नाम “अपहरण ” था जिसमें भारतीय नौसेना, भारतीय तटरक्षक बल और कोचीन पोर्ट ट्रस्ट के 12 से अधिक जहाजों और हेलीकाप्टरों सहित कई एजेंसियों ने भाग लिया।
🌻T he purpose of the hijacking was to bring uniformity in the reactive / action mechanism / preparedness in view of the hijacking of a ship by anti-national forces, hijacking a commercial ship is a serious challenge for Coast Guard. Action on this requires coordination of resources and efforts of all stakeholders including the state government.
अपहरण का उद्देश्य राष्ट्र विरोधी ताकतों द्वारा किसी जहाज को अपहरण करने को ध्यान में रखते हुए प्रतिक्रियात्मक/कार्रवाई व्यवस्था/तैयारी में एकरूपता लाने के लिए इस अभ्यास का आयोजन किया गया था, तटरक्षा के लिए व्यावसायिक जहाज का अपहरण एक गंभीर चुनौती है। इस पर कार्रवाई के लिए संसाधनों के समन्वय तथा राज्य सरकार समेत सभी हितधारकों के प्रयासों की आवश्यकता होती है।
