Maharana Pratap Death Anniversary: Maharana Pratap was born on 9 May 1540 in Kumbhalgarh, Mewar. His father’s name was Udai Singh II and his mother’s name was Maharani Jaiwanta Bai.

Maharana Pratap is also one of those brave sons whose example of bravery is given throughout the whole of India. Akbar himself had also acknowledged the irony of his valour.
Maharana Pratap was very powerful along with being proficient in fighting skills. His height was about 7 feet 5 inches and he carried an 80 kg spear and two swords with him. The armour that Maharana Pratap used to wear was also 72 kg. The total weight of their weapons and weapons used to be about 208 kg.
