Amit Shah launches ‘Ayushman CAPF’ health card

Recently Union Home Minister Amit Shah has announced that the Central Government has given the benefit of the “Ayushman CAPF Health Scheme” to all Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel. The scheme was launched in line with the commitment of the Central Government to ensure the health facilities of CAPF personnel so that they can discharge their duties with full concentration.

हाल ही में केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने घोषणा की है कि केंद्र सरकार ने सभी केंद्रीय सशस्त्र पुलिस बलों (CAPF) के कर्मियों को “आयुष्मान सीएपीएफ स्वास्थ्य योजना” का लाभ दिया है। यह योजना CAPF के कर्मियों की स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए केंद्र सरकार की प्रतिबद्धता के अनुरूप शुरू की गई थी ताकि वे पूरी एकाग्रता के साथ अपने कर्तव्यों का निर्वहन सुचारु रूप से कर सकें।

Who is covered under the ‘Ayushman CAPF’ scheme?

In this scheme, officers and serving personnel of the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF), as well as dependents of the seven forces namely Border Security Force (BSF), Assam Rifles, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and National Security Guard (NSG), have been included.
