Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the 28th NHRC Foundation Day program through video conferencing on October 12, 2021, in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and NHRC President Arun Kumar Mishra. The Prime Minister emphasized that with measures such as the International Solar Alliance, Renewable Energy Goals and Hydrogen Mission, India is moving rapidly towards sustainable living and environment-friendly development.
Addressing the Foundation Day program of the National Human Rights Commission, PM Modi said – “India has given a new perspective to the whole world about human rights. India has shown the whole world the way to use human rights and follow non-violence. The National Human Rights Commission has always been committed to the fulfilment of human rights.
The Prime Minister said that today many sectors of work have been opened for women, it is being ensured that they can work round the clock with security. Big countries of the world are unable to do this, but today India is giving 26 weeks of paid maternity leave to career women.
The National Human Rights Commission of India is a statutory public body constituted on 12 October 1993 for the protection of human rights and the dignity of marginalized people under the Protection of Human Rights Act 1993.
हाल ही मे, प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह और NHRC अध्यक्ष Arun Kumar Mishra की उपस्थिति में 12 अक्टूबर, 2021 को वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से 28 वें NHRC स्थापना दिवस कार्यक्रम को संबोधित किया। प्रधान मंत्री ने जोर देकर कहा कि अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सौर गठबंधन, नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा लक्ष्यों और हाइड्रोजन मिशन जैसे उपायों के साथ, भारत सतत जीवन और पर्यावरण के अनुकूल विकास की दिशा में तेजी से आगे बढ़ रहा है।
राष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार आयोग के स्थापना दिवस कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए पीएम मोदी ने कहा – “भारत ने पूरे विश्व को मानवाधिकारों के विषय में एक नया नज़रिया दिया है। भारत ने पूरे विश्व को मानवाधिकारों के इस्तेमाल और अहिंसा के पालन माँ रास्ता दिखाया। भारत का राष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार आयोग हमेशा से ही मानवाधिकारों की पूर्ति के लिए प्रतिबद्ध रूप से कार्य करता रहा है।
प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि आज महिलाओं के लिए काम के अनेक सेक्टर्स को खोला गया है, वो 24 घंटे सुरक्षा के साथ काम कर सकें, इसे सुनिश्चित किया जा रहा है। दुनिया के बड़े-बड़े देश ऐसा नहीं कर पा रहे लेकिन भारत आज करियर वूमेन (career women) को 26 हफ्ते की मातृत्व अवकाश (paid maternity leave) दे रहा है।
भारत का राष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार आयोग एक वैधानिक सार्वजनिक निकाय है जिसका गठन मानवाधिकार संरक्षण अधिनियम 1993 के तहत मानवाधिकारों के संरक्षण और हाशिए के लोगों की गरिमा के संरक्षण के लिए 12 अक्टूबर 1993 को किया गया था|
