Every Year, World Rose Day is celebrated on 22 September at the international level. The day is celebrated in memory of Melinda Rose, a 12-year-old Canadian girl.
World Rose Day 2021: World Rose Day is annually celebrated on September 22 in dedication to the welfare of cancer patients. On this day, people around the world work towards bringing cheer and hope into the lives of all those people who have been affected by cancer.
Rose Day is observed in the memory of Melinda Rose from Canada who was diagnosed with Askin’s Tumour, a rare form of blood cancer when she was 12. After the diagnosis, the doctors had given her just weeks but she went on to live for six months, never giving up the hope of defeating cancer.
The theme of World Rose Day 2021 has not been announced yet. Last year (2020) theme was “Changing The Way We Look At Cancer“. The World Rose Day theme focuses on spreading awareness about the causes and prevention of cancer.
World Rose Day 2021: विश्व रोज़ दिवस प्रतिवर्ष 22 सितंबर को कैंसर रोगियों के कल्याण के प्रति समर्पण के रूप में मनाया जाता है। इस दिन, दुनिया भर के लोग उन सभी लोगों के जीवन में खुशी और आशा लाने की दिशा में काम करते हैं जो कैंसर से प्रभावित हुए हैं।
रोज़ डे कनाडा की मेलिंडा रोज़ की याद में मनाया जाता है, जिन्हें 12 साल की उम्र में एस्किंस ट्यूमर, रक्त कैंसर का एक दुर्लभ रूप का पता चला था। निदान के बाद, डॉक्टरों ने उन्हें कुछ हफ़्ते दिए थे, लेकिन वह छह साल तक जीवित रहीं। महीनों, कैंसर को हराने की उम्मीद कभी नहीं छोड़ी।
विश्व रोज़ दिवस 2021 की थीम अभी घोषित नहीं की गई है। पिछले साल (2020) की थीम थी “कैंसर को देखने का तरीका बदलना”। विश्व गुलाब दिवस की थीम कैंसर के कारणों और रोकथाम के बारे में जागरूकता फैलाने पर केंद्रित है।
