3.5 crore people of 96 lakh families of Odisha will get the benefit of the Smart Health Card. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik claimed that Odisha is the first state in the country to provide such smart health cards.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has announced to provide smart health cards to 3.5 crore people of the state under the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the country’s independence.
Announcing on the occasion of Independence Day on 15th August, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said that with the introduction of the Smart Health Card, there will be a change in the healthcare system and history will be made in the health sector of the country. Keep in mind that Patnaik has not implemented the Ayushman Bharat scheme in Odisha.
Under this scheme, every family will get insurance up to Rs 5 lakh per year. Also, this facility for women will be up to Rs 10 lakh. The beneficiaries of the food security scheme, Annapurna Yojana, Antyodaya Yojana of the country and the state will get the facilities of this card.
