World Hepatitis Day 2021: World Hepatitis Day 2021 is observed every year on 28 July. On this day guidelines and programs are organized by the World Health Organization (WHO) to make the world aware of this viral infection.
Every year the theme of World Hepatitis Day is kept. This year’s theme is “Hepatitis Can’t Wait” which means Hepatitis can’t wait.
According to WHO, 2 people die in a minute due to hepatitis. If we talk about statistics, every year 11 lakh people die due to hepatitis B and C infection. While 9,400,000 people receive treatment for hepatitis C virus infection, only 42% of children worldwide receive a dose of the hepatitis B vaccine during birth.
Hepatitis refers to inflammation in the liver. It is usually caused by viral infections, but there are other possible causes of hepatitis. These include autoimmune hepatitis, as well as hepatitis that appears as a secondary result of drugs, toxins, and alcohol.
(विश्व हेपेटाइटिस दिवस 2021 प्रति वर्ष 28 जुलाई को मनाया जाता है| इस दिन दुनिया को इस वायरल संक्रमण के प्रति जागरूक करने के लिए विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (डब्ल्यूएचओ) द्वारा दिशा निर्देश और कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाते हैं|)
(हर साल वर्ल्ड हेपेटाइटिस डे (World Hepatitis Day) की थीम रखी जाती है| इस बार की थीम है ”हेपेटाइटिस कांट वेट” यानी कि हेपेटाइटिस अब इंतजार नहीं कर सकता|)
(डब्ल्यूएचओ के मुताबिक, एक मिनट में 2 व्यक्ति की मौत हेपेटाइटिस के कारण होती है| अगर आंकड़ों की बात करें तो हर साल 11 लाख लोग हेपेटाइटिस बी और सी के संक्रमण के कारण मारे जाते हैं| जबकि 9400000 लोगों को हेपेटाइटिस सी वायरस इनफेक्शन का उपचार मिलता है, वहीं पूरी दुनिया में सिर्फ 42% बच्चों को ही जन्म के दौरान हेपेटाइटिस बी के टीके की खुराक मिल पाती है|)
(हेपेटाइटिस लीवर में सूजन (Inflammation) को दर्शाता है यह आमतौर पर वायरल संक्रमण (Viral Infections) के कारण होता है, लेकिन हेपेटाइटिस के अन्य संभावित कारण भी हैं| इनमें ऑटोइम्यून हेपिटाइटिस के अलावा वह हेपेटाइटिस शामिल हैं जो दवाओं विषाक्त पदार्थों और शराब के सेकेंडरी रिजल्ट के रूप में सामने आते हैं|)
