Bihar Diwas (Bihar Day) is observed every year on March 22, marking the formation of the state of Bihar.
On 12 March in the year 1912, Bihar was carved out of Bengal and given the status of a lawful state. At that time, Orissa and Jharkhand were also included in Bihar. That is why Bihar Day is celebrated on 22 March.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will address the districts through a video conference on March 22 at 11 am. Last year too, Bihar Day celebrations could not be organized due to Corona, while this time it will be organized through video conferencing.
This time the theme of Bihar Day celebrations has been laid – water, life, greenery. This time the ceremony will be celebrated in a symbolic manner.

(मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार 22 मार्च सुबह 11 बजे जिलों को वीडियो काफ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से संबोधित करेंगे। पिछले साल भी कोरोना की वजह से बिहार दिवस समारोह का आयोजन नहीं किया जा सका था वहीं इस बार वीडियो काफ्रेंसिंग के जरिए आयोजन होगा |)
