Bihar: Jitanram Manjhi will be the Protem Speaker
After the recently concluded assembly elections in Bihar, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government led by Nitish Kumar once again recommended the name of former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi for the pro tem speaker before the start of the assembly session. | Because he is one of the senior leaders of the state, Jitan Ram Manjhi has a long experience as a member of the assembly, he has also been a minister in the state government and has also held the responsibility of the post of Chief Minister. Jitan Ram Manjhi is almost certain to become the pro tem speaker till the election of the Speaker of the Assembly, the pro tem speaker is responsible for conducting the activities of the House. The job of a Protem Speaker is to administer the oath of membership to the members of the Legislative Assembly who are elected to the new Assembly.
(हाल ही मे समपन हुये बिहार में विधानसभा चुनाव के बाद एक बार फिर से नीतीश कुमार के नेतृत्व में बनी राष्ट्रीय जनतांत्रिक गठबंधन (एनडीए) की सरकार ने विधानसभा सत्र की शुरुआत से पहले प्रोटेम स्पीकर के लिए पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री जीतनराम मांझी के नाम की सिफारिश की है | क्योकि वे प्रदेश के वरिष्ठ नेताओं में से एक हैं जीतनराम मांझी विधानसभा सदस्य के रूप में भी लंबा अनुभव रहा हैं वे प्रदेश सरकार में मंत्री भी रहे हैं और मुख्यमंत्री पद का दायित्व भी संभाल चुके हैं | जीतनराम मांझी का प्रोटेम स्पीकर बनना लगभग तय है विधानसभा अध्यक्ष का चुनाव होने तक प्रोटेम स्पीकर पर ही सदन की गतिविधियों के संचालन की जिम्मेदारी होती है | प्रोटेम स्पीकर का कार्य नई विधानसभा के लिए निर्वाचित होकर आए विधानसभा सदस्यों को सदस्यता की शपथ दिलाना होता है |)
