Fitch cuts India growth rate forecast for 2021-22 to 10%
Recently, Fitch Ratings has revised down its GDP growth forecast for India in 2021-22 (FY22) to 10% from 12.8%. The reason for this reduction is attributed to the slow recovery after the second wave of COVID-19.
Fitch believes the new restrictions have slowed reform efforts and left banks with a moderately poor outlook for business and revenue generation in FY 2021-22. Fitch believes that faster vaccination will lead to increased business and consumer confidence.

(फिच का मानना है कि नए प्रतिबंधों ने सुधार के प्रयासों को धीमा कर दिया है और वित्त वर्ष 2021-22 में बैंकों को व्यापार और राजस्व सृजन के लिहाज से मध्यम खराब दृष्टिकोण के साथ छोड़ दिया है| फिच का मानना है कि तेजी से टीकाकरण के कारण व्यापार और उपभोक्ता विश्वास में बढ़ोतरी होगी|)
