The Stand Up India scheme was launched on April 5, 2016, to promote entrepreneurship at the grassroots level focusing on economic empowerment and job creation.
The Government of India has extended the period of the ‘Stand Up India Scheme’ till the year 2025. Which was launched by the Prime Minister on 05 April 2016 to facilitate loans to SC, ST and women borrowers to promote entrepreneurship.
The scheme provides bank loans to encourage women and scheduled caste and scheduled tribe communities to set up a greenfield enterprise outside the agricultural sector, that is, in the manufacturing, services or trade sector.
So far 1,16,266 loans worth Rs 26204.49 crore have been disbursed for this scheme. Loans under the Stand Up India Scheme are extended by Scheduled Commercial Banks (SCBs) between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 1 crore.
भारत सरकार ने ‘स्टैंड अप इंडिया योजना (Stand Up India Scheme’) की अवधि को वर्ष 2025 तक बढ़ा दिया है| जिसे 05 अप्रैल 2016 को प्रधान मंत्री द्वारा अनुसूचित जाति, अनुसूचित जनजाति और महिला उधारकर्ताओं को उद्यमशीलता को बढ़ावा देने के लिए ऋण की सुविधा के लिए शुरू किया गया था|
यह योजना महिलाओं और अनुसूचित जाति और अनुसूचित जनजाति समुदायों को कृषि क्षेत्र के बाहर, जो कि विनिर्माण, सेवाओं या व्यापार क्षेत्र में है, एक ग्रीनफील्ड उद्यम (greenfield enterprise) स्थापित करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करने हेतु बैंक ऋण प्रदान करती है|
इस योजना के लिए अब तक 26204.49 करोड़ रुपये के 1,16,266 ऋण का विस्तार किया गया हैं। स्टैंड अप इंडिया योजना (Stand Up India Scheme) के तहत ऋण अनुसूचित वाणिज्यिक बैंकों (Scheduled Commercial Banks (SCBs) द्वारा रुपये 10 लाख और 1 करोड़ रुपये के बीच बढ़ाया जाता है|
