Greta Thunberg will be given the Gulbenkian Award for Humanity


Recently Greta Thunberg, Sweden’s 17-year-old voice for climate change, has been selected for the inaugural Gulbenkian Prize for Humanity. 
They will be awarded prize money of 1 million euros as prize. He has been honored for his efforts to mobilize younger generations to combat climate change.
Greta Thunberg came to the headlines after launching protests outside the Swedish parliament in 2018, after which she raised it globally and led to a school strike by children around the world.
The Gulbenkian Award for Humanity is given to individuals, groups or organizations around the world for their innovation, innovation and effective efforts to adapt to climate change.
