Supreme Court has issued Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for ‘hybrid’ physical hearing.
Recently, the Supreme Court has announced that ‘Hybrid Physical Hearing’ will begin in the court from 15 March. Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, the Supreme Court has been hearing the video conference since March last year.
As per the SOP of the Supreme Court, cases listed on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be heard in a hybrid mode i.e. both physical and virtual mode whereas on Monday and Friday, with the limited capacity of the court to hear the cases through video/teleconferencing mode Will continue.
Additionally, in the case of final hearings and regular cases, where the number of attorneys appearing on behalf of the parties would exceed the average working capacity of the courtroom, as per the Kovid-19 protocol, 20 persons per courtroom, those cases would also be heard through video conferencing. (सुप्रीम कोर्ट की एसओपी के अनुसार, मंगलवार, बुधवार और गुरुवार को सूचीबद्ध मामलों पर हाइब्रिड मोड यानि कि फिजिकल और वर्चुअल दोनों तरीकों से सुनवाई होगी जबकि सोमवार और शुक्रवार को न्यायालय की सीमित क्षमता के साथ मामलों को वीडियो / टेली-कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग मोड के जरिए सुनना जारी रहेगा |)
(इसके अतिरिक्त अंतिम सुनवाई और नियमित मामलों में, जहां पक्षकारों की ओर से पेश वकीलों की संख्या कोर्ट रूम की औसत कार्य क्षमता, कोविड-19 प्रोटोकॉल के अनुसार, 20 व्यक्ति प्रति कोर्ट रूम, से ज्यादा होगी तो उन मामलों की सुनवाई भी वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिए की जाएगी |)
