India Ranked 86 out of 98 countries in Lowy Institute Covid-19 Response Index


Recently, the Covid-19 Response Report has been released by Australia-based Lowy Institute in which India is ranked 86th out of 98 countries in the Coronavirus Performance Index.

Countries were ranked on the basis of publicly available and comparable data in the Covid-19 response index. The Lowy Institute is an independent international policy think tank based in Sydney (Australia).

The top three countries in the Coronavirus Performance Index are New Zealand, Vietnam and Taiwan respectively. Brazil is placed at the bottom of the list for the worst handling of the Covis-19 epidemic. China is excluded from this list due to the lack of publicly available data.

(कोरोनावायरस प्रदर्शन सूचकांक में शीर्ष तीन देश क्रमशः न्यूजीलैंड, वियतनाम और ताइवान हैं | Covis -19 महामारी की सबसे ख़राब हैंडलिंग के लिए ब्राज़ील को सूची में सबसे नीचे रखा गया है | सार्वजनिक रूप से उपलब्ध डेटा की कमी के कारण चीन को इस सूची से बाहर रखा गया है |)
