Saadat Rahman won the International Children’s Peace Prize 2020
Recently, Saadat Rahman of Bangladesh received the prestigious International Children’s Peace Prize 2020. He received this award for his participation in developing the social organization and mobile app ‘Cyber Teens’ set up by him to stop cyberbullying. The award was presented to 17-year-old Saadat by Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai during a ceremony held in the Netherlands. They have been selected from 142 applicants from 42 countries. This prestigious award is given annually to a child who has done special work to promote children’s rights and improve the condition of vulnerable children. The International Children’s Peace Prize is instituted annually since 2005 by KidsRights, an Amsterdam-based children’s rights organization in the Netherlands.
