After they reportedly threw stones at Garba dancers in the Kheda area earlier this week, the police beat the members of the minority group.

A review was launched into the event after videos of some police officers beating them with a baton appeared on social media.

Five additional people were detained by the police on Friday for their suspected involvement in the stone-pelting incident, bringing the total number of people being held in this matter up to 18.

According to a police officer, the matter is currently also being looked into from the perspective of criminal conspiracy.

In the meantime, the police are looking into the matter from the perspective of a criminal conspiracy on the side of the minority community, according to Dhruv rajChudasama, inspector of Special Operations Group (SOG) looking into the issue.

He said that the police had added the Indian Penal Code (IPC) section 120 (B), which deals with criminal conspiracy, to the first information report (FIR) filed in this case, which includes the names of 43 people. A municipal court on Saturday ordered the five suspects detained on Friday to remain in jail.

According to Mr. Chudasama, out of the 43 suspects who were named in the FIR, 18 have been taken into custody thus far after we detained five more. 

“In the FIR, we put IPC clause 120(B). Together, the accused people planned to prevent the Garba celebration from taking place in the designated village location. The accused planned this ahead of time and made the necessary arrangements, “he stated. 

Meanwhile, a team of attorneys representing the minority community sent a letter to the Kheda district superintendent on Friday asking for a fair inquiry into the entire affair.

They said there was a plot on the part of the sarpanch of Undhela village to incite Muslims by holding a Garba celebration close to a mosque. 

According to the memorandum, “innocent” individuals have been charged in the FIR against community members who practice Islam. 

Officials from the local criminal section flogged the man under the influence of the sarpanch and local political figures. 

The attorneys, operating under the guise of the “All India Lawyers Council,” said in their brief that videos of the incident were posted on social media as part of the plot.

A crowd purportedly made up of Muslim community members threw stones at the Garba dance event held as part of the Navratri celebrations in Undhela on Monday night, injuring seven people including a police officer. The event’s proximity to a mosque was a point of contention for the assailants. 

The next day, footage allegedly showed police officers publicly beating three of the 13 suspects detained in the stone-pelting case with a baton while holding them against an electric pole at a village junction. 

Ashish Bhatia, the Director General of Police (DGP) for Gujarat, has mandated an investigation into the incidence of flogging.

The Ganga Expressway, which would span a total of 594 kilometers and connect Meerut and Prayagraj, will be the longest road in India. Adani Enterprises will construct 464 km, or 80% of the project, from Budaun to Prayagraj.

जम्मू-श्रीनगर राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर अलग-अलगलैंड-स्लाइडसंभावित क्षेत्रों की मरम्मत की योजना तैयार की गई है। मुख्य सचिव ए. के. मेहता द्वारा जारी निर्देश के अनुसार 27 सितंबर तक राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग चार घंटे प्रतिदिन यातायात के लिए बंद रहेगा. मरम्मत  के दौरान सुबह तीन बजे से सुबह सात बजे तक यातायात बाधित रहेगा.

कब से शुरू होगा काम?

मुख्यसचिव ने NHAI द्वारा NH-44के लैंड-स्लाइड संभावित हिस्सों पर तत्काल मरम्मत करने के लिए शुक्रवार से पांच दिनों की अवधि के लिए चार घंटे के यातायात को रोकने का आह्वान किया है।

मेहता ने अधिकारियों से राजमार्ग पर फलों से लदे ट्रकों की सुचारु आवाजाही सुनिश्चित करने को कहा। उन्होंने अधिकारियों से बनिहाल और रामबन के बीच के हिस्सों को डबल लेन करने और उसके बाद के ब्लैक टॉपिंग को 10 दिनों की अवधि के भीतर पूरा करने के लिए भी कहा।

यातायात की आवाजाही में न्यूनतम बाधा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए, मरम्मत केवल रात के दौरान ही किया जाएगा जब यातायात कम और न्यूनतम हो।

मुख्य सचिव ने अधिकारियों को यातायात के बेहतर प्रबंधन और सड़क सुरक्षा गियर की खरीद के लिए जीपीएस तकनीक और अन्य जैसे वैज्ञानिक तरीकों को अपनाने के लिए कहा है।

मरम्मत की जानकारी

मरम्मत के लिए खरीदे गए लॉजिस्टिक्स के बारे में भी जानकारी साझा की गई। बैठक में बताया गया कि 213 बाइक (प्रत्येक पुलिस स्टेशन के लिए एक), 110 रॉयलएनफील्डबाइक, 23 क्रेन, 20 मोबाइल वाहन इंटरसेप्टर, 16 हाईवे पेट्रोलिंग वाहनों की खरीद पूरी कर ली गई है और उनके अनुकूलित उपयोग के लिए उनकी रेट्रोफिटिंग चल रही है।

अन्य यातायात उपकरण प्राप्त करने पर ₹1.52 करोड़ की राशि खर्च की जा रही है।

All kinds of entertainment were banned in Kashmir in 1989 when militancy first appeared there. Theaters were closed by extremist groups on demand, and anyone who resisted them was assaulted.

The history of Kashmiri films is as old as Indian Bollywood. The “Kashmir Talkie,” Srinagar’s first movie theatre, opened its doors in 1932. It was renamed Palladium cinema two years before Mumbai’s Bombay Talkies film studio was founded.

Eventually, Kashmir saw the development of Regal cinema and numerous additional theatres. Many of them have previously featured in Hollywood films.

However, due to the rise in militancy supported by religious fanaticism, all theatres were closed. There were various attempts to reestablish theatres, but they were all unsuccessful due to fear and a lack of moviegoers in the Valley.

Inaugurating the multiplex today, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha criticized past administrations for not doing more to resurrect theatres in Kashmir.

They (leaders) see movies in Delhi and other countries as well, but nothing was done to revitalize film for the general public, according to Sinha. He said that recent filming in Kashmir saw a boom that led to the development of a film metropolis.

“We have located the property and are constantly in contact with the residents.” There are specific limits for locals under the new film regulation. We’re providing incentives to regional filmmakers, he remarked.

Since 1998, at least three theatres that were shut down by radical organizations—Neelam, Regal, and Broadway—have been reopened. But owing to a lack of moviegoers, they all closed their doors in less than two years.

The multiplex’s organizers are hoping that this time the curse will be broken.

What are the steps?

The city was already advanced when it signed the memorandum of understanding with the firm named Pataa Navigations. The Memorandum of Understanding is signed by Rajat Jain, co-founder of Pataa Navigations, and Rishav Gupta (IAS), CEO of Indore Smart City.

How did the app got recognized?

Pataa Navigations has recently developed patented technology and is working with ISRO which is (Indian Space Research Organization) to develop a digital addressing system.

Pataa is a tiny and relatable code, such as KUMAR100, SINGH221, or other frequently used codes.

The code will help the user to find the specific location where it is tagged. Users even can upload images of their homes to clarify along with their address in the text.

What is the benefit of this app?

User has also the option to record over voice to give instructions which help in not repeating the address again and again over a call.

Code makes it simple for the guests to find the exact location.

It is expected that in the coming future, users will be able yp share shorter codes rather than sharing the long-sized text address, it is very beneficial to have anything like this. 

Why the app was needed? 

As per the data, India is gaining a loss of an estimated cost which is about 75,000 crores a year because of its complicated addressing system.

Pataa Navigations and ISRO have come together with a collaboration to build a strong digital system of addressing for the country to decrease the loss and make the addressing system simpler.

This initiative is a very good step towards “Atmanirbhar Bharat’s” objective.

In what areas the app will be available?

The MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) says that the Pataa app will be used by all government agencies and services of emergency, such as – the police, fire department, and ambulance.

For essential services like E-KYC and banking Geo-tagging, the app will be used. Everyone at the business will have the access to the Pataa app.

Which services will get integrated?

Pataa Navigation will collaborate with government platforms like the departments of electricity, excise, agriculture, women and child welfare, and education.

Pataa will also geotag MP Tourism’s all tourist destinations and integrate them with all websites. All the basic public assets like bus stops, light poles, and public washrooms should have digital address numbers pasted on them.

What are the more uses of this app? 

Pataa App is a free service, it will help delivery providers to find the specific geotagged location. Low fuel usage of Pataa will be a great helping hand for e-commerce companies and their partners of delivery as they complete their last journey.

This app will also be helpful in bringing down Indore’s pollution level. The app tries to raise the standard of living for those living in rural areas of India by creating resources like loans, seeds, and technical support more accessible.
