52nd International Film Festival to be held in Goa

Information and Broadcasting Minister, Shri Prakash Javadekar released the poster along with the rules for the 52nd edition of the International Film Festival of India on 5th July.

International Film Festival of India: The 52nd edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) will be held in Goa from 20 to 28 November 2021. The information of which was given by the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Shri Prakash Javadekar while releasing the regulations and posters for the 52nd IFFI.

The International Film Festival of India is considered to be one of the oldest in Asia and one of the largest international film festivals in India. Considering the stupendous success of the 51st edition of IFFI held in January 2021, the 52nd edition of IFFI will be held in a hybrid format.

Starting this year on the occasion of the birth centenary of the legend of Indian cinema, Mr Satyajit Ray, “Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Cinema” will be inaugurated at IFFI from this year itself.

Central Government launched India Toy Fair 2021 official Website

The Government of India is going to organize The India Toy Fair (Toys Fair), 2021 for the first time from 27 February 2021 to 02 March 2021 on a virtual platform. This initiative is in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of making India a global hub for the toy industry.

The official website of India Toy Fair-2021 is www.theindiatoyfair.in. It has been launched by Textiles Minister Smriti Irani, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal.

The idea of organizing the Toy Fair was conceived in the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat address on August 30, 2020. In his address, the Prime Minister highlighted the huge potential of the toy market and the opportunities that can be used to promote indigenous toys.

The fair is being organized by the Ministry of Textiles in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
The fair will educate, teach and promote the indigenous toy industry to children.
The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar Center for Creative Learning (CCL) has developed more than 200 toys for display at the fair.

(खिलौना मेला आयोजित करने का विचार 30 अगस्त, 2020 को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के मन की बात संबोधन में किया गया था। अपने संबोधन में प्रधानमंत्री ने खिलौने के बाजार की विशाल संभावनाओं और उन अवसरों पर प्रकाश डाला, जिनका उपयोग स्वदेशी खिलौनों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए किया जा सकता है।)

इस मेले का आयोजन कपड़ा मंत्रालय द्वारा शिक्षा मंत्रालय और वाणिज्य व उद्योग मंत्रालय के सहयोग से किया जा रहा है।
यह मेला बच्चों को स्वदेशी खिलौना उद्योग के शिक्षण, सीखने और बढ़ावा देगा।
इंडियन इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी गांधीनगर सेंटर फॉर क्रिएटिव लर्निंग (CCL) ने मेले में प्रदर्शन के लिए 200 से अधिक खिलौने विकसित किए हैं।

Tesla registers Indian unit in Bangalore

Tesla was founded by Elon Musk on 1 July 2003. It is headquartered in California, United States.

Recently became the world’s richest person, Elon Musk-owned electric vehicle (EV) company Tesla has registered a wholly-owned subsidiary in Bangalore.

Tesla is the world’s most valuable car manufacturer, having registered a wholly-owned subsidiary Indian unit as a first step to set up an R&D unit and a manufacturing plant for its electric vehicles in India.
