The International Cricket Council has released the schedule of the T20 World Cup to be held in 2021. This World Cup will be organized in the United Arab Emirates and Oman.

The International Cricket Council has released the schedule of the T20 World Cup 2021. According to which the first match of T20 World Cup will be played between Oman and Papua New Guinea on 17 October. At the same time, India will play its first match in the T20 World Cup against Pakistan on October 24.

The T20 World Cup 2021 was earlier proposed to be held in India. But due to the coronavirus global epidemic, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has shifted it to UAE and Oman.

The T20 World Cup will be held in Oman and UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah) from October 17 to November 14. The qualifying tournament of eight countries will be played from 23 September. Out of this, four teams will qualify for the Super-12 stage.

Teams of India and Pakistan are in Group-2. There are also teams from New Zealand and Afghanistan in this group. At the same time, England, Australia, South Africa and West Indies have been kept in Group-1 of Super-12. There will be six teams in each group. The other teams in the group will be decided by the results of the qualifier rounds of the World Cup.

Group 1: Australia, England, South Africa, West Indies, Winners Group A, Runners-up Group B 
Group 2: India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Winners Group B, Runners-up Group A
Group A: Sri Lanka, Ireland, Netherlands, Namibia
Group B: Bangladesh, Scotland, Oman, Papua New Guinea
