This military exercise was the 11th edition of ‘Vajra Prahar’ aimed at sharing best practices and experiences in areas such as joint mission planning and operational strategy.
Recently, the 11th edition of the Indo-US Joint Special Forces exercise was held at Vajra Prahar 2021 Special Forces training school in Bakloh, Himachal Pradesh.
The objective of the ‘Vajra Prahar’ exercise was to share best practices and experiences in areas such as joint mission planning and operational strategy and to improve interoperability between the special forces of the two countries.
In this exercise, warship Shivalik and long-range maritime patrol aircraft P8I participated from the Indian Navy, while the USS Theodore Roosevelt vessel was participated by the US side.
The armies of the participating countries jointly train, organize and execute a number of operations to address various natural threats with a common objective of combating international terrorism threats through mutual training and jointness.

(इस अभ्यास में भारतीय नौसेना की ओर से युद्धपोत शिवालिक और लंबी दूरी के समुद्री गश्ती विमान पी8आई ने भाग लिया वहीं अमेरिका की ओर से यूएसएस थ्योडोर रूज़वेल्ट पोत ने भाग लिया था|)
(इसमे भाग लेने वाले देशों की सेनाएँ आपसी प्रशिक्षण और संयुक्तता के माध्यम से अंतर्राष्ट्रीय आतंकवाद के खतरों का मुकाबला करने के एक सामान्य उद्देश्य के साथ विभिन्न प्राकृतिक खतरों के निराकरण के लिए कई अभियानों को संयुक्त रूप से प्रशिक्षित, व्यवस्थित और क्रियान्वित करती हैं|)
