G. Akash became the 66th Chase Grandmaster of India

Tamil Nadu’s G Akash became the country’s 66th chess Grandmaster while his statemate M Pranesh and Goa’s Ameya Audi earned International Master titles.

G. Akash has become the 66th Chess Grandmaster of India. This was confirmed at the second meeting of the International Chess Federation-FIDE Council of the year 2020. Akash won the national title in 2012, which was followed by the International Master title. Along with him, Ameya Audi of Goa has also won the International Master title.
