Rewa Ganguly Das appointed as Secretary (East) in the Ministry of External Affairs
Recently, High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh Rewa Ganguly Das has been appointed Secretary (East) in the Ministry of External Affairs by the government. She will replace Vijay Thakur Singh, who is retiring on 30 September.
Ms. Das, a 1986-batch Indian Foreign Service officer, is currently India’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh. She will take over as Secretary (East) from October.
