Recently in the year 2020, a total of 121 police personnel have been awarded the ‘Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation’. The ‘Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation’ aims to promote high professional standards of crime investigation and to identify such excellence in investigation by investigating officers.
(हाल ही में साल 2020 में कुल 121 पुलिस कर्मियों को ‘जांच में उत्कृष्टता के लिए केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री के पदक’ से सम्मानित किया गया है। ‘जांच में उत्कृष्टता के लिए केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री के पदक’ का उद्देश्य अपराध की जांच के उच्च प्रोफेशनल मानकों को बढ़ावा देना और जांच अधिकारियों द्वारा जांच में इस तरह की उत्कृष्टता की पहचान करना है।)
The composition of the winning police personnel who received the ‘Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation’ is as follows:
15 policemen are from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
10 policemen are from Madhya Pradesh Police.
10 police personnel belong to Maharashtra Police.
8 policemen are from Uttar Pradesh Police
7 police personnel are from Kerala Police.
7 policemen are from West Bengal Police
The list of police personnel who have received the ‘Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation’ also includes 21 women police officers.
