Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti released from detention after 14 months
Recently, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has been released by the State Government on 13 October 2020 after 14 months. She was under house arrest since the removal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. He is released after 14 months.
(हाल ही मे, पीपुल्स डेमोक्रेटिक पार्टी (पीडीपी) की अध्यक्ष एवं पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री महबूबा मुफ्ती को 14 माह बाद 13 अक्टूबर 2020 को प्रदेश सरकार ने रिहा कर दिया है | जम्मू-कश्मीर में अनुच्छेद 370 हटाने के बाद से ही वो नजरबंद थीं | उनकी 14 महीने बाद रिहाई हुई है |)
Mehbooba Mufti was taken into custody under the Public Safety Act (PSA) from Jammu and Kashmir on 05 August 2019 with the removal of the provisions of Article 370. Since then, the period of his detention was being extended continuously. It has been decided to release him after 14 months and eight days.
(जम्मू-कश्मीर से 05 अगस्त 2019 को आर्टिकल 370 के प्रावधानों को हटाने के साथ ही महबूबा मुफ्ती को पब्लिक सेफ्टी एक्ट (PSA) के तहत हिरासत में ले लिया था | तब से अब तक उनकी हिरासत की अवधि लगातार बढ़ाई जा रही थी | उन्हें 14 महीने और आठ दिन बाद रिहा करने का फैसला लिया गया है |)
