Vijayalakshmi Ramanan, the first woman officer of the Indian Air Force, died
Recently, the first female officer of the Indian Air Force, Winger (R) Dr. Vijayalakshmi Ramanan has passed away. She was born in February 1924, she joined the Army Medical Corps on August 22, 1955 after completing her MBS. In addition to working as a gynecologist in various Air Force hospitals, he served the wounded soldiers during the alert and also followed the administrative Slavs promptly.
(हाल ही में मे, भारतीय वायु सेना की पहली महिला अधिकारी, विंग्डर (रि।) डॉ। विजयलक्ष्मी रमनन का निधन हो गया है। उनका जन्म फरवरी 1924 में हुआ था, वह अपनी एमबीएस करने के बाद 22 अगस्त, 1955 को आर्मी मेडिकल कोर में शामिल हुई। इन्होने विभिन्न वायु सेना अस्पतालों में स्त्री रोग विशेषज्ञ के रूप में कार्य करने के अलावा, उन्होंने चेतावनी के दौरान घायल सैनिकों को सेवाए दी और और प्रशासनिक स्लावों का पालन भी तत्पर्ता से किया।)
Vijayalakshmi Ramanan, Ramanan was promoted to the post of Wing Commander in August 1972 and was awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal five years later. She retired in February 1979. Apart from this Ramanan studied Carnatic music and also worked as an artist with All India Radio at a very young age.
