India becomes the fourth country to receive IMO recognition for navigation satellite system

Recently, the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS) has been recognized by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) as the World Wide Radio Navigation System (WWRNS) for operations in the Indian Ocean region. 

India has become the fourth country in the world to have an independent regional navigation satellite system with recognition by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). Apart from India, America, Russia and China have IMO recognized navigation systems.

(हाल ही मे, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय समुद्री संगठन (IMO) द्वारा इंडियन रीजनल नेविगेशन सैटेलाइट सिस्टम (IRNSS) को हिंद महासागर क्षेत्र में संचालन के लिए वर्ल्ड वाइड रेडियो नेविगेशन सिस्टम (WWRNS) के रूप में मान्यता दी है। 

भारत अंतर्राष्ट्रीय समुद्री संगठन (IMO) द्वारा मान्यता मिलने के साथ स्वतंत्र क्षेत्रीय नेविगेशन उपग्रह प्रणाली वाला दुनिया का चौथा देश बन गया है। भारत के अलावा अमेरिका, रूस और चीन पास IMO द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त नेविगेशन सिस्टम हैं |)
