Delhi government established Tamil Academy

Delhi government’s Department of Art, Culture, and Language on Sunday set-up a Tamil academy to promote the language and culture of the southern state of Tamil Nadu.

Recently, on 3 January 2021, the Department of Arts, Culture and Languages ​​of the Government of Delhi established the Tamil Academy to promote the language and culture of the southern state of Tamil Nadu.

Delhi has a large population of people from Tamil Nadu and therefore want to present a platform for the people of Delhi to taste the art and culture of Tamil Nadu.

The Department of Arts, Culture and Languages ​​of the Government of Delhi has decided that the new academy will initiate various awards to promote and reward the good works of the people in Tamil language and culture.

Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, who also holds the charge of the Art, Culture, and Language department, said, “It is this diversity that forms Delhi’s vibrant and cosmopolitan culture. Delhi has a large population of people from Tamil Nadu and we want to present a platform to the people of Delhi to get a taste of the art and culture of Tamil Nadu.”

हाल ही मे 3 जनवरी 2021 को दिल्ली सरकार के कला, संस्कृति और भाषा विभाग ने दक्षिणी राज्य तमिलनाडु की भाषा और संस्कृति को बढ़ावा देने के लिए तमिल अकादमी की स्थापना की है।

दिल्ली में तमिलनाडु के लोगों की एक बड़ी आबादी रहती है और इसलिए तमिलनाडु के कला और संस्कृति का स्वाद लेने के लिए दिल्ली के लोगों के लिए एक मंच प्रस्तुत करना चाहते हैं।
