NASA’s Perseverance Rover has safely landed on Mars after recently traveling 292.5 million miles from Earth. The rover has been traveling nearly 300 million miles since it left Earth 6 months ago.
Perseverance and his teams lived with little to overcome the challenges of preparing for the final stages of the journey during the epidemic. The Attitude Control System is responsible for pointing the rover in the direction it needs to be, and also helps in figuring out which direction the spacecraft is oriented in space.
An Indian-American named Dr. Swati Mohan, who confirmed for the first time that the rover had specifically escaped the intricate entry into the atmosphere of Mars. Dr. Swati Mohan, who successfully led the development of attitude control and landing system for the rover, was one of the teams of scientists behind the historic mission.
