Prime Minister Modi laid the Foundation Stone For the Memorial of Maharaja Suheldev
Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the memorial of Maharaja Suheldev in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh on 16 February 2021. In addition, the Prime Minister has also laid the foundation stone for the development work of Chittaura Lake in Bahraich. In which UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also present.
The Prime Minister said on this occasion that today I have got the privilege of laying the foundation stone of the grand memorial of Maharaja Suheldev ji in Bahraich. He said that this modern and grand monument, the development of the historic Chittaura lake, will increase the blessings of Maharaja Suheldev on Bahraich and inspire the generations to come.
This program has been organized in Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Maharaja Suheldev, in which Prime Minister Modi (PM Modi) laid the foundation stone for the development work of Chittaura lake in Bahraich through video conferencing.
Its benefits will be available to the surrounding districts of Shravasti, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar. Also, patients coming from Nepal will also get help. He said that the medical college named after Maharaja Suheldev ji has also got a new and grand building.
Maharaja Suheldev was the emperor of Shravasti in the 11th century who killed Salar Masood, nephew of Mahmud Ghaznavi. People of Rajbhar and Pasi caste consider him as their descendant, who has considerable influence in many districts of Purvanchal.

(यह कार्यक्रम महाराजा सुहेलदेव की जयंती के मौके में उत्तर प्रदेश के बहराइच जिले में आयोजित किया गया है जिसमे प्रधानमंत्री मोदी (PM मोदी) वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिये बहराइच की चित्तौरा झील के विकास कार्यों का शिलान्यास किया|)

(महाराजा सुहेलदेव 11वीं सदी में श्रावस्ती के सम्राट थे जिन्होने महमूद गजनवी के भांजे सालार मसूद को मारा था | राजभर और पासी जाति के लोग उन्हें अपना वंशज मानते हैं, जिनका पूर्वांचल के कई जिलों में खासा प्रभाव है |)
