Vijay Sampla becomes chairman of the National Scheduled Castes Commission

Recently, former Union Minister Vijay Sampla has taken over as the chairman of the National Scheduled Castes Commission. Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Krishnapal Gurjar, Union Minister Shri Som Prakash, former NCSC Chairman and BJP MP Hansraj Hans, and other members of the Commission were present on the occasion.

Shri Vijay Sampla served as Minister of State in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment between 2014-19. The NCSC is an Indian constitutional body under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, which works to prevent socio-economic development of Scheduled Castes and prevent atrocities against them.

Vijay Sampla while addressing the media said that he would continue to make efforts to protect the interests and rights of the Scheduled Caste community. Shri Sampla said that the Commission will not only work to ensure justice to the Scheduled Castes community but will also actively work to prevent any kind of injustice with the community.

हाल ही मे, पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री विजय सांपला ने राष्ट्रीय अनुसूचित जाति आयोग के अध्यक्ष का पदभार ग्रहण किया है। इस अवसर पर केंद्रीय सामाजिक न्याय और अधिकारिता राज्य मंत्रीकृष्णपाल गुर्जर, केंद्रीय मंत्री श्री सोम प्रकाश, एनसीएससी के पूर्व अध्यक्ष और भाजपा सांसद हंसराज हंस और आयोग के अन्य सदस्य उपस्थित थे।

श्री विजय सांपला वर्ष 2014-19 के बीच सामाजिक न्याय और अधिकारिता मंत्रालय के राज्य मंत्री के रूप में रहे हैं। NCSC सामाजिक न्याय और अधिकारिता मंत्रालय के तहत एक भारतीय संवैधानिक निकाय है, जो अनुसूचित जाति के सामाजिक-आर्थिक विकास और उनके विरुद्ध होने वाले अत्याचार को रोकने के लिए काम करता है। 

विजय सांपला ने मीडिया को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि वह अनुसूचित जाति समुदाय के हितों और अधिकारों की रक्षा के लिए लगातार प्रयास करते रहेंगे। श्री सांपला ने कहा कि आयोग न केवल अनुसूचित जाति समुदाय को न्याय सुनिश्चित करने के लिए काम करेगा, बल्कि समुदाय के साथ किसी भी प्रकार के अन्याय को रोकने के लिए भी सक्रिय रुप से काम करेगा।
