Google will implement this through the ‘Women Will’ web platform launched at the virtual Google for India event on 8 March, International Women’s Day.
Recently, Google has launched a new web platform called ‘Women Will’ on 8 March 2021 on the occasion of “International Women’s Day”. This web portal can be accessed in English and Hindi languages.
The main objective of this portal is to guide 1 million rural women in India to convert their interests or interests such as beauty services, tailoring, home tuition, food processing etc. into a business.
Google announced a $ 500,000 Google.org grant to the Nasscom Foundation to train 100,000 women Agri workers in Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Bihar, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh on digital, financial and literacy.
- It will also provide guidance to manage and promote the business.
- The Women Will Platform is designed for women who want to become entrepreneurship.
- The Nasscom Foundation will set up a helpline where women will be consulted on entrepreneurship questions.
