Finnish telecom gear maker said that it has started manufacturing 5G equipment in India.
The Finnish telecom equipment manufacturer, Nokia (Nokia) recently announced on March 16 that it has partnered with Microsoft, Amazon Web Services and Google to develop a new cloud-based 5G radio instrument.
Nokia will develop this instrument with its Radio Access Network (RNA) technology. This partnership has been aimed at developing new business matters.
- RAN is part of a mobile telecommunications system. The system of which implements radio access technology.
- The RAN resides between devices such as a computer, mobile phone, or a remote-controlled machine that provides a connection to the core network.
- Mobile phones and other wirelessly connected devices are called user devices, terminal devices, or mobile stations, etc., depending on the standard.
- RAN functionality is typically provided by silicon chips that reside in both core networks and user devices.
