To create awareness about the use of generic medicines, ‘Jan Aushadhi Week’ will be organized from March 1 to March 7 with the theme of “Jan Aushadhi – Seva Bhi, Rozgar Bhi”.
Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has dedicated the 7500th Jan Aushadhi Kendra at NEIGRIHMS, Shillong to the nation while addressing the ‘Jan Aushadhi Divas’ function through video conference.
PM Modi interacted with the beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Project and recognized his outstanding work and presented prizes to the stakeholders. Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers should also be present on this occasion.
‘Jan Aushadhi Week‘ from 1 March to 7 March with the theme of “Jan Aushadhi – Seva Bhi, Rozgar Bhi)” to create awareness about the use of generic medicines. ‘Will be celebrated all over the country.
In this week various functions are organized across the country such as health checkup camp, Jan Aushadhi discussion, Teach them Young, a panel discussion with doctors etc.
- Janaushadhi Yojana proved to be very helpful for poor and middle-class families.
- It has become the medium of both service and employment.
