PM Modi Inaugurates India First India Toy Fair-2021

 The fair will be held from February 27 to March 2, 2021.

Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first India Toy Fair-2021 through a video conference. PM Modi in his address urged the country to become self-sufficient in the toy manufacturing sector.

India Toy Fair was first mentioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address to the ‘Mann Ki Baat‘ program on August 30, 2020. Where PM Modi highlighted the huge potential of the toy market and the opportunities that can be used to promote indigenous toys.

The objective of India Toy Fair-2021 is to provide a platform to the states to develop toys, to revive traditional and indigenous toys in the lives of children, by supporting the National Toy Fair local toys industry under self-reliant India Economy has to be boosted.

The Ministry of Textiles, along with other ministries including the Ministry of Education, has organized virtual programs aimed at providing joyful learning to children to promote teaching and learning as well as the indigenous toy industry.
