Chief Minister Adityanath said that in the last 4 years, 18 lakhs have been given in urban areas and 22 lakhs in rural areas, a total of 40 lakh houses have been given. In this scheme, individual beneficiaries are also getting 2.5 lakh rupees.
Uttar Pradesh (UP) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed a function organized at Marbella in Gorakhpur for handing over housing certificates to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). Will have their own house to cover their heads.
The Chief Minister of UP said that Central and State Governments are working in meeting the need for housing, electricity, pure drinking water, health facilities, school education and close employment in the ease of life.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is a successful scheme under which 2.5 lakh rupees are given to the eligible people of urban areas. Out of which the central government gives 1.5 lakh and the state government 1 lakh rupees. In the last four years, a sufficient number of houses have been constructed according to the demand of the people.
Chief Minister Adityanath informed that in the last 4 years, 18 lakhs have been given in urban areas and 22 lakhs in rural areas, total 40 lakh houses have been given. Along with this, workers along with journalists, advocates, teachers etc. are also being benefited from the facility of accommodation. Now no labourer will be forced to sleep on the pavement and he will get food with respect in his house.
Union Urban Affairs Housing Minister (Independent Charge) Hardeep Singh Puri said that Uttar Pradesh has the best figures in the entire country under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Between 2014-15, it was reported that 1 crore houses were built, which was revised to 1.12 crore. Under this scheme, 1.11 crore houses were commissioned in June 2015.

(मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने बताया कि प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना एक सफलतम योजना है जिसके तहत शहरी क्षेत्र के पात्र लोगों को 2.5 लाख रुपये दिए जाते हैं| जिनमे से केंद्र सरकार 1.5 लाख व राज्य सरकार 1 लाख रुपये देती है| प्रदेश में गत चार साल में जनता की मांग के अनुरूप पर्याप्त संख्या में आवास बनाए गए हैं|)
(मुख्यमंत्री आदित्यनाथ ने बताया कि पिछले 4 साल मे शहरी क्षेत्र में 18 लाख तथा ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में 22 लाख, कुल 40 लाख घर दिए गए हैं| इस योजना में व्यक्तिगत लाभार्थियों को भी 2.5 लाख रुपये मिल रहे हैं| साथ ही पत्रकारों, अधिवक्ताओं, शिक्षकों आदि के साथ कामगारों को भी आवास की सुविधा से लाभान्वित किया जा रहा है| अब कोई मजदूर फुटपाथ पर सोने को मजबूर नहीं होगा ओर उसे अपने मकान में सम्मान के साथ भोजन मिलेगा|)
(केंद्रीय शहरी कार्य आवास मंत्री (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) हरदीप सिंह पुरी ने बताया कि प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना में पूरे देश में उत्तर प्रदेश के आंकड़े सर्वश्रेष्ठ हैं| साल 2014-15 के बीच इसके लिए 1 करोड़ आवास बनाने की जानकारी हुई जिसे पुनरीक्षित कर 1.12 करोड़ कर दिया गया था | जून 2015 में आरंभ इस योजना में 1.11 करोड़ आवासों को सैंक्शन कर दिया गया|)
