Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced the Lilavati Award 2020
Recently, the Union Minister of Education, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has presented the AICTE Lilavati Award, 2020, on 13 April 2021 in New Delhi. The awards were based on the theme “Women Empowerment“. In this, the winners were selected by AICTE-All India Council for Technical Education in six sub-disciplines.
SWEAT (Sona Women’s Entrepreneurship and Training) from Sona College of Technology, Tamil Nadu won the award under the ‘Women Entrepreneurship’ sub-topic. Paritran of St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, another college in Tamil Nadu, won the award for the sub-theme of ‘Self Defense’.
Under the ‘Literacy’ sub-topic, the Bharatiya Vidyapeeth of the Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development, Pune received the award. The Lilavati Award was received by WIT Women’s Health Association at Walchand Institute of Technology, Maharashtra under the “Women Health” sub-topic.
Radiant Sitha of Thiagarajar Polytechnic College won the competition in the subject of ‘Legal Awareness’. Under the ‘Hygiene and Health Sciences’ sub-topic, Smt. Kishoritai Bhoyar College of Pharmacy, Nagpur, Maharashtra won the award.

(तमिलनाडु के सोना कॉलेज ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी से SWEAT (सोना महिला उद्यमिता और प्रशिक्षण) ने ‘महिला उद्यमिता’ उप विषय के तहत पुरस्कार मिला| तमिलनाडु के एक अन्य कॉलेज, सेंट जोसेफ कॉलेज ऑफ इंजीनियरिंग के परित्राण ने ‘सेल्फ डिफेंस’ की उप-थीम के लिए पुरस्कार मिला|)
(‘साक्षरता’ उप विषय के तहत, प्रबंधन और उद्यमिता विकास संस्थान पुणे के भारतीय विद्यापीठ को पुरस्कार मिला| “महिला स्वास्थ्य” उप विषय के तहत लीलावती पुरस्कार WIT महिला स्वास्थ्य संघ द्वारा वालचंद इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी, महाराष्ट्र को मिला|)
(थिअगाराजर पॉलिटेक्निक कॉलेज के रेडिएंट सीथा ने ‘लीगल अवेयरनेस’उप विषय में प्रतियोगिता जीती | ‘स्वच्छता और स्वास्थ्यविज्ञान’ उप-विषय के तहत, श्रीमती. किशोरीताई भोयर कॉलेज ऑफ फार्मेसी, नागपुर, महाराष्ट्र ने पुरस्कार जीता|)
