How to get people over 18 years of age to register online for Covid-19 vaccine in India, know everything


Registration for all the people above 18 years of age for Covid-19 vaccination will start from April 28, 2021. Which was announced by the Central Government on 19 April 2021. In the third phase of the vaccination campaign starting from May 1, 2021, all people above the age of 18 years will be eligible to be vaccinated.

How can I register myself for vaccination?

  • You can register for the vaccination campaign on the Kovin portal and Arogya Setu App to schedule your vaccination day.
  • For this, first, go to the official website cowin.gov.in and enter your mobile number.
  • For verification purposes, enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
  • After verification of your OTP, the registration page for vaccination will open.
  • Then you enter your photo ID proof and comorbidities (if you have two or more diseases in the body) along with the details if any.
  • After checking the filled details, click on Register.
  • Next, go to your account statement page to determine the day of your vaccination. You can also add other additional people with the additional button at the bottom right of the page.
  • You will get the location, date and time of vaccination on your registered mobile number.
  • Remember to carry your vaccination slip/details/mobile with the photo ID card used for registration on the day of vaccination.

At the time of registration any of the following photo ID proof can be produced:

  • driving license
  • Aadhar Card
  • pan card
  • Passport
  • Voter ID
  • Pension document.
  • Passbook issued by bank/post office.
  • Job card issued by Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA).
  • Health insurance smart card issued under the scheme of the Ministry of Labor.
  • Official ID card issued to MPs / MLAs / MLCs.
  • Service Identity Card with photograph issued to employees by Central / State Government / PSU / Public Limited Companies.
  • RGI issued a smart card under NPR.
