Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to the chief ministers of all states and union territories to organise a “Tika Utsav” or vaccine festival to inoculate as many people as possible against the coronavirus.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with the Chief Ministers of the states on 08 April 2021 regarding the condition of the corona virus epidemic and vaccination. Addressing this, between April 11 and April 14, the country has appealed to celebrate ‘Teeka Utsav’ and get more people vaccinated.

In a meeting with the Chief Ministers, PM Modi appealed to celebrate the Teeka Utsav and said that April 11 is Jyotiba Phule Ji’s birth anniversary and April 14 is the birth anniversary of Babasaheb, in the meantime, we will all celebrate the ‘Teeka Utsav’. At the same time, in this meeting, he emphasized corona testing, night curfew and vaccination and made it clear that there is no need for complete lockdown in the country.

The Prime Minister said that we should emphasize the testing and whenever symptoms are seen, go to the doctor. He said that the corona is such a thing, unless you bring it, it will not come. We have to increase testing and tracking.

Prime Minister Modi said that people have become more careless than before, in some states the administration is relaxing. PM said that we have resources, now we also have experience. PM Modi said that the corona test of everyone should be done in the Containment Zone.
