Recently, KR Gouri Amma, the most senior communist leader of Kerala, KR Gouri Amma, who was the first Revenue Minister in the first communist ministry of the state in 1957, KR Gouri Amma has passed away due to age-related ailments. She was 102 years old. KR Gauri Amma was the second longest-serving MLA in the Kerala Legislative Assembly and also the last surviving member of the Kerala government.
KR Gauri Amma joined the newly formed Communist Party of India (Marxist) after the Communist Party split in 1964. He also formed and headed the political party Janathipathya Samrakshana Samiti (Janathipathya Samrakshana Samithi-JSS) in 1994 after he stepped down from the CPI (M). KR Gauri Amma was the driving force behind the historic Land Reforms Bill in Kerala. He participated in a total of 17 assembly elections, of which 13 won assembly elections.
हाल ही में केरल की सबसे वरिष्ठ कम्युनिस्ट नेता केआर गौरी अम्मा (KR Gouri Amma), जो 1957 में राज्य के पहले कम्युनिस्ट मंत्रालय में पहली राजस्व मंत्री थी, केआर गौरी अम्मा का आयु संबंधी बीमारियों के कारण निधन हो गया है। वह 102 वर्ष हो चुकी थी। केआर गौरी अम्मा केरल विधानसभा में दूसरी सबसे लंबे समय तक सेवा में रहने वाली विधायक थीं और पहली केरल सरकार की अंतिम जीवित सदस्य भी थीं।
केआर गौरी अम्मा 1964 में कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी के विभाजन के बाद, नवगठित भारतीय कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी (मार्क्सवादी) में शामिल हो गयी थी। उन्होंने CPI (M) से अपने पद से हटने के बाद 1994 में राजनीतिक पार्टी जनतिपथ्य संरक्षण समिति (Janathipathya Samrakshana Samithi-JSS) का गठन और उसका नेतृत्व भी किया। केआर गौरी अम्मा, केरल में ऐतिहासिक भूमि सुधार विधेयक के पीछे प्रेरक शक्ति थी। उन्होंने कुल 17 विधानसभा चुनाव में भाग लिया था, जिसमें से 13 विधानसभा चुनाव जीते थे।
