Odisha announced Gopabandhu Sambadika Health Insurance Scheme
Recently, the Odisha government has announced the Gopabandhu Sambadika Health Insurance Scheme (Gopabandhu Sambadika Swasthya Bima Yojana) for journalists. Odisha has declared journalists as Border Kovid warriors. It will benet more than 6500 journalists from the state.
Under this Gopabandhu Sambadika Health Insurance Scheme, every journalist will be provided with a health insurance cover of Rs 2 lakh. Under the scheme, financial assistance of Rs 15 lakhs will be provided to the families of journalists who died from COVID-19 while on duty.

हाल ही में ओडिशा सरकार ने पत्रकारों के लिए गोपबंधु सम्बदिका स्वास्थ्य बीमा योजना (Gopabandhu Sambadika Swasthya Bima Yojana) की घोषणा की है. ओडिशा ने पत्रकारों को सीमावर्ती कोविड योद्धा घोषित किया है। यह राज्य के 6500 से अधिक पत्रकारों को बेनेट करेगा।
इस गोपबंधु सम्बदिका स्वास्थ्य बीमा योजना के तहत, प्रत्येक पत्रकार को 2 लाख रुपये का स्वास्थ्य बीमा कवर प्रदान किया जाएगा। योजना के तहत, ड्यूटी करते समय COVID -19 से मरने वाले पत्रकारों के परिवारों को 15 लाख रुपये की वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान की जाएगी।
