Six heritage sites included in India, temporary list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites

Recently, Union Minister of Culture Prahlad Singh Patel has announced that it has added about six cultural heritage sites to UNESCO World Heritage Sites. With this, the total number of sites in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites Temporary List has increased to 48.

(हाल ही में केंद्रीय संस्कृति मंत्री प्रह्लाद सिंह पटेल (Prahlad Singh Patel) ने घोषणा की कि है, इसमें लगभग छह सांस्कृतिक विरासत स्थलों को यूनेस्को की विश्व धरोहर स्थलों में जोड़ा गया है। इसके साथ, यूनेस्को की विश्व धरोहर स्थलों की अस्थायी सूची में साइटों की कुल संख्या बढ़कर 48 हो गई है। )

 

The following six places have successfully entered the temporary list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

  • Ganges Ghats of Varanasi,
  • Temples of Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu,
  • Satpura Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh,
  • Maharashtra Military Architecture
  • Higher Benakal Megalithic Site,
  • Bhedaghat Lametaghat of Narmada Valley in Madhya Pradesh.
