Book titled Urdu Poets and Writers – Gems of Deccan Presented to M. Venkaiah Naidu
Recently, Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu was given the title of senior journalist J.S. Iftekhar (J.S. Ifthekhar) presented his book ‘Urdu Poets and Writers – Gems of Deccan’. Shri Naidu lauded the author for the book which discusses the rich literary and cultural traditions of the Deccan.
This book is a compilation of prose and poetry that encapsulates the lives and works of 51 outstanding poets and writers of the Deccan region. The book covers the rich literary and cultural traditions of the Deccan from Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah, the founder of Hyderabad, to the present day.
Referring to the richness of the Urdu language, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu said that it is one of the most beautiful languages spoken in the world. At the same time, underlining the importance of mother tongue, he urged people to always speak in their mother tongue.
(हाल ही मे, उपराष्ट्रपति एम. वेंकैया नायडू को वरिष्ठ पत्रकार जे.एस. इफ्तेखार (J.S. Ifthekhar) ने अपनी पुस्तक ‘उर्दू पोएट्स एंड राइटर्स – जेम्स ऑफ डेक्कन’ भेट की| श्री नायडू ने पुस्तक के लिए लेखक की सराहना की जिसमें दक्कन की समृद्ध साहित्यिक और सांस्कृतिक परंपराओं की चर्चा की गई है|)
(इस पुस्तक गद्य और काव्य का संकलन है जो दक्कन क्षेत्र के 51 उत्कृष्ट कवियों और लेखकों के जीवन और कार्यों को समेटे हुए है| इस पुस्तक में हैदराबाद के संस्थापक मुहम्मद कुली कुतुब शाह से लेकर वर्तमान समय तक दक्कन की समृद्ध साहित्यिक और सांस्कृतिक परंपराओं की रचना है|)
(उपराष्ट्रपति वेंकैया नायडू ने उर्दू भाषा की समृद्धि का उल्लेख करते हुए कहा कि दुनिया में बोली जाने वाली सबसे खूबसूरत भाषाओं में से एक है| साथ ही उन्होंने मातृभाषा के महत्व को रेखांकित करते हुए लोगों से हमेशा अपनी मातृभाषा में बोलने का आग्रह किया|)
