After remaining above the Rs 1 lakh crore mark for eight consecutive months, the GST collection in June has fallen below this. Center imposed GST of Rs 92,849 crore for the month of June.
The Goods and Services (GST) collection of the government stood at Rs 92,849 lakh crore in June 2021. Which is the lowest level of GST collection (below one lakh crore) of the last eight months. The Finance Ministry said that these figures of GST collection also include the data of domestic transactions during the period from June 5 to July 5.
The GST collection in May stood at Rs 1.02 lakh crore. This was the eighth consecutive month that the GST collection figure exceeded Rs 1 lakh crore.
The Finance Ministry will honour over 54,000 GST taxpayers by issuing appreciation certificates to them for timely filing of returns and making cash payment of tax. More than 88 per cent of these identified taxpayers are micro, small and medium entrepreneurs.

(सरकार का माल एवं सेवा (जीएसटी) संग्रह जून 2021 में 92,849 लाख करोड़ रुपये रहा| जो पिछले आठ महीनों का निम्नतर स्तर का जीएसटी संग्रह (एक लाख करोड़ से नीचे) है। वित्त मंत्रालय ने बताया कि जीएसटी संग्रह के इन आंकड़ों में पांच जून से पांच जुलाई के दौरान हुए घरेलू लेनदेन के आंकड़े भी शामिल हैं|)

(वित्त मंत्रालय 54,000 से अधिक जीएसटी करदाताओं को सही समय पर रिटर्न दाखिल करने और कर का नकद भुगतान करने पर प्रशंसा प्रमाणपत्र जारी कर उन्हें सम्मानित करेगा| पहचान किए गए इन करदाताओं में 88 फीसदी से अधिक सूक्ष्म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यमी है|)
