This day is celebrated every year on 17th July to strengthen the work of the International Justice and International Criminal Court (ICC).

World International Day of Justice is observed every year globally on 17 July to support and recognize the work of the International Criminal Court (ICC). Which is also known as International Criminal Justice Day or International Day of Justice.

The day marks the anniversary of the adoption of the Rome Statute on 17 July 1998, the treaty that created the International Criminal Court. At that time 120 states had adopted a law in Rome. This was known as the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, with all countries agreeing to adopt the statute acceding to the ICC’s jurisdiction.

The ICC is the first parliament and independent international judicial body to prosecute those accused of international humanitarian and serious human rights violations. This includes genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity.

(प्रति वर्ष विश्व स्तर पर 17 जुलाई को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अपराध न्यायालय (ICC) के काम को समर्थन और मान्यता देने के लिए विश्व अंतर्राष्ट्रीय न्याय दिवस मनाया जाता है| जिसे अंतर्राष्ट्रीय आपराधिक न्याय दिवस या अंतर्राष्ट्रीय न्याय दिवस के रूप में भी जाना जाता है|)
